I was watching a crime show a couple years ago and the plot was about a woman who was Agoraphobic, never left her house for anything at all. All her shopping was done online and through catalogs . Of course, the crime show focused on how she never left her house and how sad her life was.  It showed just how easy it was to fall in the habit of never leaving the house .

It was actually kind of funny as I was sitting there thinking that never leaving the house with the convenience of the interenet could be a lot of fun, everything coming right to the door for a great price and fast . Everyone these days is trying to limit their errand running because of the price of gas going up and down, and who has time . For me, that makes online shopping even more appealing.

I have found myself really having fun searching out engraved gifts. It seems like there are a lot of options online. This really helps me because I just do not have the time or energy to be going from shop to shop hoping I will find what I want. Personalizing gifts has become somewhat of an obsession.

I love to dig around and find interesting ways to make something functional and ordinary become unique. Like executive putter set ,  cherry keepsake boxes or  personalized poker sets . Of course I am not saying that shoppers should buy everything through the internet, human interaction is an important thing!!! Internet shopping is a fun tool that can be a help in the crazy busy lives so many of us lead these days!

So, I’m not suggesting you never leave your home, but try to leave the house for only the fun exciting things. Life should be about enjoyment not standing in the department stores waiting in some line. Happy shopping and remember make it personalized.
